Stripe Setup for CommonPlateGiving

Stripe handles payment processing and deposits for online gifts. Your church owns the Stripe account it creates or connects.

What to expect

Stripe may request information about the church and an authorized representative. Exact requirements vary, so follow the current instructions shown by Stripe.

What to prepare

Have the church’s legal and contact information available, along with details for an authorized representative. Stripe may also request tax and payout information directly in its secure verification flow.

  • Church legal name, address, and contact details
  • Authorized representative information
  • Tax or registration information when applicable
  • Church payout details entered directly with Stripe

What CommonPlate does not need

CommonPlate does not need your online-banking username or password and does not hold church funds.
