Is there a monthly CommonPlate subscription?
No. CommonPlate does not charge a monthly software subscription. Stripe processing charges and CommonPlate’s disclosed 1% platform fee still apply to online gifts.
Where do donations go?
Your church creates or connects its own Stripe account. Stripe processes each gift and deposits funds directly to the church according to that account’s payout schedule. CommonPlate does not hold church funds.
Does CommonPlate need our banking login?
No. CommonPlate does not ask for your online-banking username or password. Banking and identity details required for payouts are handled through your church-owned Stripe account.
What fees apply?
Stripe processing charges apply, and CommonPlate receives a disclosed 1% platform fee. Donors may choose to cover estimated fees; otherwise the fees are deducted from the gift proceeds.
What does the public church page include?
It gives your church one shareable place for a welcome message, service information, visit details, and a path to online giving. Your church controls the information it publishes.
